WHY CUSTOM PHOTOGRAPHY?
Hello there! I am Susie Moore, an on-location, natural light photographer for Indianapolis, IN and it’s surrounding areas! I have a passion for working with high school seniors as well as college students! I love fresh faces as well as capturing each client’s unique personality and preserving it as photographic art.
I strive to offer my clients more than just a simple photography experience… I offer luxury custom photography.
What is custom photography? I’m glad you asked! Check this out!
I always try to educate my clients about custom photography because let’s face it… it’s hard to find! I am not talking about the mall “studio” or the photographer down the street that will charge you $100 and give you a CD of your images while sending you on your way. That is NOT custom photography.
Custom photography is about art, professionalism and client service. When you decide to invest with me, you’re investing in a lifetime experience. From the very beginning you’ll notice a huge difference. You’re not some customer that I’ll forget about tomorrow. You and I will discuss exactly what you want out of your portraits. Do you want them to look like a magazine shoot? Are you nervous about what to wear? Do you want to make sure that you are shot from flattering angles? These are all questions that I answer before every single one of my shoots. I spend time with my clients to make sure they get exactly what they want. I’ll give you an unending amount of information to ease your anticipation before we meet for our shoot. Complete with my Welcome Packet comes a what to wear guide for your specific portrait session, tips and tricks to get the most out of your shoot and so much more. Believe me…. your eyes will be tired from reading all of the super helpful information!
Now… on to the fun stuff! We will go to the best locations to get images that are different from anyone elses. You should be able to enjoy your session and get a variety in your locations, poses and looks! You don’t want the same image lining your hallways with the same backdrop and the same looks. We’ll bounce from location to location and I encourage you to change your look! Mix it up with some new colors or a quick change of your hair! It will really make the difference!
After your fabulous session, begins the editing. Oh yes… I’m going there! Your skin will be flawless, your eyes will twinkle and what’s that? You want teeny tiny little spot gone? Done! I stay abreast of the latest trends in photography and editing techniques and can guarantee you a fresh look all the while not making you look like a plastic Barbie! Don’t believe me? Go check out my before and after portfolio! Look really close! It’s ok! I want you to! Looking naturally beautiful and fresh faced–that’s what it’s all about!
Are we done yet? No way! It doesn’t end there. I offer premier ordering sessions and let me tell you… they are the best! That’s a fancy term for in person ordering sessions! I will come to your house or a previously agreed upon location and you will get to view your gorgeous portraits in a slideshow set to music. After that, we’ll go over each photo in your proofing set and get down to the details. I’ll guide you through each of my collections, measure your walls for that beautiful canvas and help you hand pick your images for your boutique leather album! If you’re not quite sure what goes where, or where to even start, don’t worry! That’s why I do in person ordering sessions… it helps so much to have someone guide you through the ordering process and help showcase your portrait images in the best way possible. I have found that most photographers who hand over a CD and leave the creative design up to you, the client, hardly ever have their images printed! The client files that CD away and always says, “I’ll get them printed tomorrow.” What happens to those photos? They never get printed and in result, never get seen by the client’s loved ones! So heartbreaking! Those clients basically throw away their money and it becomes a distant memory.
Whew! That was a lot to take in, right? Basically, YOU choose not only your photographer but your photography experience and as a result, your images.
